Starting July 12, 2005, leading safety professionals -- who were on the frontlines at the WTC site and intricately involved in the OSHA Partnership -- will deliver OSHA 5600 Disaster Site Worker Train the Trainer Course

TSC is pleased to announce its collaboration with the prestigious Rochester Institute of Technology OSHA Education Center to deliver the OSHA Train the Trainer programs.

"RIT has long been acknowledged as one of the nation's leading providers of high-quality, accredited safety and health degree programs. Today's workplace issues are brought directly into the classroom and relevant examples are used to illustrate key safety and health concepts," said Kitren A. VanStrander, Director, RIT Outreach Education and Training. "These same principles will be employed and embraced under the collaborative effort with TSC."

For the OSHA 5600 Disaster Site Worker Train The Trainer Course, TSC and RIT have empanelled a group of leading safety professionals who were on the frontlines at the WTC site and intricately involved in the OSHA Partnership to deliver the program. They will relay first-hand experiences, lessons learned and offer some emergency preparedness actions to respond to possible future disasters.

All classes are held at TSC's convenient LIC training facility, 5 Court Square. To register and for more information, call Tom Ferrante at 718-389-2103, or e-mail him by clicking here.

Patricia Jones, Assistant Area Director, Bayside Area Office, Occupational Safety and Health Administration, was a speaker at the successful OSHA 500 Trainer Course in Occupational Safety and Health Standards held in June at TSC's Long Island City Training Center.
