TSC becomes a new member of the Professional Women in Construction New York Chapter

We are proud to announce that Total Safety Consulting, a women owned business enterprise, recently joined the Professional Women in Construction (PWC) New York Chapter, a non-profit organization. New York is the founding and national chapter of PWC. It was established in 1980 by 8 women who decided that if they banded together, they could support each other in advancing their careers and businesses. That is the vision of what they do and we are excited to attend their upcoming events. TSC has been a certified M/WBE since 1997 and has current, active M/WBE status designated by NYC, NYS, PANY&NJ and the NYCSCA.

The Minority and Women-owned Business Enterprises (M/WBE) was created to address historic disparities in New York City contracting and provide minority and women entrepreneurs increased opportunities to do business with the City. The Office is responsible for developing policy, enhancing coordination among City agencies, and providing oversight and accountability of the City’s M/WBE Program. It serves as a One-Stop-Shop for M/WBEs interested in doing business with the city and its agencies.

The PWC is a national nonprofit organization founded in 1980 that seeks to support, advance, and connect women and promote diversity within the architecture, engineering, construction, (AEC) and related industries.

TSC and its affiliated companies are focused on construction safety by providing the construction industry with jobsite safety consulting, professional safety personnel, safety supplies and equipment and a full curriculum of over 75+ construction safety/ general safety training classes.

“As women owned company we are extremely proud of our M/ WBE accreditation! TSC prides itself on inclusion and equality as core values that should be applied in every field. We are excited to be part of the PWC New York Chapter and plan to offer fellow members a variety of construction safety resources all geared at preventing injuries and accidents and making construction jobsites safer.” – Elizabeth Bifulco, Managing Member of Total Safety Consulting, LLC.
